Designing for the Eurovision Song Contest 1999, in Israel, was one of the highlights of my career to date. Ten days of rehearsal with 20 Stage Zooms, 20 Stage Colours, 60 Mac 500s, 50 Martin PALs, 130 Mac 600s, 4 backlight spots, 6 SuperTroopers, 2 Cadenzas, 40 Martin Pro 400s, 4 DFs and 3 operators all proved worthwhile when the pictures you see here were transmitted to 300 million people worldwide.
